But I must also say, I am very surprised that the son is still in jail with bail.
I thought they turned people back loose in california once arrested and cycled thru the system
Think of the two space shuttles that exploded. One was on the way to space and one was on the way home from space. I would rather be on the one going home.

Of course it won't be 100% effective but damn it's a good idea and you have to rip the Band-Aid off somewhere.
I just wonder how long it will take the kids will find a workaround.
Besides children, the people who really don't like this would be ped0ph1les and perverts.
I’m only stating facts. There is no way to enforce this ban. It’s all for show, and nothing more. It’s the moral equivalent of wishing on a star.
This is the moral equivalent to what they’re doing in Australia: A person is swimming twenty-five yards out in the water, when he suddenly realizes he can’t make it back to shore.
He sees people on the beach and he begins to call to them just as he begins struggling to stay afloat.
The people on shore hear his cries and look out on the water and locate the struggling person.
But, instead of heading out on the water to effect his rescue, they all begin praying that he gets saved. They all pray really, really hard.
And, he slips under the water and drowns.
Here’s what they all say afterward: Well, we did something. At least we tried.
Same thing.
Same Same
They can now claim, with puffed up chests, “Look, everyone! We did something,” even though it’s totally and utterly meaningless!
However, if we accept that this is whistling in the wind, then, as a very smart man, what do you recommend should be done short of shutting down the internet?
In a perfect world, more parents would be more attentive and protective of their children. This is not a perfect world, however. People are flawed.
The ironic part is that government is made up solely of people. As stated above, people are flawed.
Why should we, then, trust government to always do the right thing, if the people in it are just as imperfect as the rest of us?
One thing is for sure: we can always trust the government to make a bad situation worse. Not even religion has had the ability to make the world right, and religion has been around far longer than government. The problem with religion, is the same as the problem with government: there are people involved in it.
A problem exists, and government’s solution, more often than not, is to make feel-good empty gestures for bragging rights, that is, when it's not trampling all over human rights. Doing “something" then becomes justification for spending more of our hard-earned money, just to micro-manage our lives.
The solution is to stop wanting the government to fix our lives and to take responsibility for ourselves. Modern societies have become far too reliant on government to solve their problems. That nonsense must stop, because government, whether through sheer incompetence or maliciousness, will ultimately be the end of human dignity and the death of humanity.
Anarchists want the world to burn. They produce nothing but misery. I want the world to be protected, because I live in it. I merely don’t want the State to tell me how I should live my life, so long as I am harming no one.
It’s not a black and white world. Why do you seem to insist that it is by labeling me an anarchist? Do you actually believe that there are only two sides in this issue: total submission/dependency or total anarchy?
Okay, you are not an anarchist. I didn’t label you. Thanks for that clarification. It was more of a question by me than a statement, but, you are a conservative, right leaning, citizen, right? So, let me ask you, what do you think of the EPA, the WHO, abortion, gun control, conservation laws, and treatment of illegal aliens? Because, in my book, many people want to live their lives in a cocoon where they don’t care about their neighbors. They just, and I quote, “don’t want the State to tell me how I should live my life, so long as I am harming no one.”
And no, I don’t believe “ that there are only two sides in this issue: total submission/dependency or total anarchy?” and I never said that. I notice you project to conclusions that are not what I’ve written (I do that too, sometimes 🤣
Why is it always a worst case scenario?
Government has been usurping the family unit for decades now. Look at the cities with the worst crime statistics. The family units are virtually non-existent in those communities, because government stepped in and told people, “You can’t do this alone. We’re here to help.”
You destroyers just can’t leave things alone.
Those family units that are virtually non-existent are a huge problem. I agree, but, without Big Government, how do you propose we deal with it? And before you say there’s too much red tape and waste of resources (and I agree with that), remember, nothing is perfect but something has to be done. Individual help is needed but it’s nowhere enough. Government help has to be.
Why not a blanket ban for all users.
These photos have been peacefully displayed in mattsjohnson18's gallery for quite some time as member uploaded one of those photos on October, 2015 and the other photo in October, 2014. Can you believe it? Those pictures have been proudly displayed for 7 and 8 years but leo is desperate for points!
02,Jun,22 08:35 mattsjohnson18: I don't know where this is coming from. I don't have any pics on my wall that I didn't take myself in Asheville. I don't even know where to look for this abuse report to reject it or see their "proof". The pics of my friend have been on my wall for years.
02,Jun,22 08:45 bella!: I showed you a screen shot of the report made and I recognize that those pictures have been displayed for 7 to 8 years but the fact remains, you were reported for deletion by another member because he was able to find matches on the internet.
02,Jun,22 08:53 mattsjohnson18: I was trying to send you a photo of me with the girl in Asheville. It's never been on my wall. I suspect that someone at some point cribbed the photos from my wall and put them online. Whatever. Also I have answered some of leopoldij's polls on this site. I'm guessing he didn't like my answers. Anyway, I'm not looking to get deleted, so I guess I'll be deleting the two pictures in question.
02,Jun,22 08:53 mattsjohnson18: Thank you for the heads up, btw. I actually appreciate that.
02,Jun,22 09:00 bella!: Hold up on deleting them, please.
02,Jun,22 09:01 bella!: I'm going to go directly to admin and ask that he intervene.
02,Jun,22 09:02 mattsjohnson18: I already deleted them, sorry. But there are plenty more of her that I took personally, plus I just uploaded a new one that I've never posted before, so I guarantee you it's nowhere else on the internet.
02,Jun,22 09:04 bella!: I posted about this "bullshit" in the Forum yesterday. Sadly, many might look at this a being a 50 point bounty for having you successfully deleted.
02,Jun,22 09:05 mattsjohnson18: I appreciate any help you can lend. I'm also willing to talk with an admin; I just have no idea how to do that. I suspect someone is just messing with me for some reason, but I don't know why.
Thank you, Jamie , for freezing leo's frivolous report and reaching out to mattsjohnson18.
The interesting thing about leo's referral of mattsjohnson18 was that mattsjohnson18 had a full series of pictures taken at this event yet leo, the numb nuts, was able to find matches on only TWO. Gee, is it possible that someone SNAGGED mattsjohnson18's pictures and posted them elsewhere? Not in leo's world, don't stand between leo and the 50 point bounty. Heck, Mr CountryCouple54 has said he's found their pictures on websites that he has not posted on. It happens, leo, get that through your thick head.
All his referrals aren't bad or frivolous HOWEVER I would say 35% are. Can you imagine reporting images that have been displayed 8 years, for cryin' out loud! There should be a statute of limitations on pictures and profiles!
Def models himself off Spoon Boy
Too bad Spooner is in the ground!
